Privacy Policy

Last updated 12 October 2026

This policy explains what data the Automation Monitor app for monday.com ("the app", "we") processes, why, and for how long. The app is operated by Fawaz Qamar, trading as Automation Monitor. Contact: support@automationmonitor.app.

What we collect

DataWhy
monday account ID, and the IDs of the users who install or use the appTo identify your account, apply your plan and check permissions
Board IDs and automation (workflow) IDs from heartbeat calls, with the time of each heartbeatTo know which automation ran and when. This is the core of the monitoring.
Monitor names, schedules and settings you enterTo run the monitors you configured
For assertions (Scale plan): the status column values and names of items on boards you chooseTo check board state on a schedule. We store at most five item names in the incident record so the alert can say what's stuck. Other item content is read only while the check runs and isn't stored.
Alert destinations: email addresses and Slack webhook URLsTo send you alerts. Stored encrypted.
Your monday access token (OAuth)To send monday notifications and run assertions on your behalf. Stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM).
Incidents and delivery logsTo show incident history and retry failed alerts

We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. We don't read your boards except for the boards you set up assertions on.

Where it's processed

We use these sub-processors:

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Secrets are also encrypted at rest.

How long we keep it

Heartbeat and incident history is kept for your plan's retention period (Free 7 days, Pro 90 days, Scale 12 months) and then deleted automatically. When you uninstall the app, we revoke our access immediately and permanently delete all of your account's data within 7 days (within the 10 days monday requires).

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing support@automationmonitor.app. Uninstalling the app deletes everything automatically. If you are in the UK or EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we'll update the date above and tell account admins by email or in the app.
